Cat pooping in my garden

i am currently going out of mind as I have moved into a new build property which I absolute love and it has a massive back, front and side garden however a local cat has decided they want to use both my back garden and side garden to take a dump (not yet the front but I am sure it’s coming) I clean it up throughly everytime and have tried the usual cat deterrent out of box solutions and even some natural oils/smells to put them off however it just won’t stop. Today I found a large pile of it smack bang in the middle of my lawn. Is there anything else I can do. It seems to be happening in the middle night so short of sitting up all night waiting for it I can’t even shoe shoe it away

We are having the same issue 🙄 we have dogs and have one bit of our garden where the dogs can’t get to so it’s totally clean for our toddler to play. My husband keeps on finding what he thought was dog poo but it’s actually next door’s cat. I know there’s very little they can do about it but it is very annoying to be having to check if the grass is clean every time and pick up after it 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Babybelles i put them plastic spikes up on the fence I thought it was getting into the garden on and came out one day to it sat on top of them it’s horrendous isn’t it starting to regret my move now

I have three cats, and my next door neighbour was having the same problem

Bloody frustrating given that we back onto fields

We bought a load of dreamies and she sprinkled them in her garden
Apparently, cats won't poo where they eat, and it certainly worked for her

Of course, cats are very persistent, so she is now hostage to 3 cats who come demanding, dreamies every so often, but she can cope with that
