Hearing aid advice anyone?

I’ve got a new set of hearing aids today - Danalogic GN. Much more advanced than my first pair. These are connected to an app which will be great. I can already hear better than with old ones. But they really hurt. The tips are hard and pointed and I can feel them pressing on to my eardrum. If I don’t push them right into my ear canal, they don’t work properly. The old pair had rounded silicone domes which were fine.

Does anyone know if they can change the tips for different shaped ones ? I have very tender and easily damaged skin due to a medical condition, which maybe isn’t helping but the old ones didn’t hurt and now I’ve taken them out, my left ear feels painful still.

Hearing aid advice anyone?

Page 27 of this guide if you scroll down suggests there are standard domes and tulip domes. Maybe you would find the other ones more comfortable, go back to the place you got them from and ask fr a change. They should have a look in your ears too and check the one that’s now sore.

NewUserNameSaved. Thank you so much. I didn’t notice that in the guide. I’ll go back in on Monday and see if they can change it. It’s an NHS aid but a private clinic too, so hopefully I can just walk in and ask if they can help. I’ll see if they will take a look in the sore ear too. Or make an appointment for them to look.
