PIP - 50% off car tax

Hi all, my car tax is due September 1st and I see I can get 50% reduction due to getting the Standard Rate of PIP for Mobility but does anyone know how long in takes please and is it as much of a faff as it looks? TIA

Mine just came through last week and I sent if it off end of June. They still haven’t cashed the cheque though 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s a faff sending all the papers but worth doing I guess.

I get the standard rate of PIP, but the bloke at the post office last week said I had to pay the full car tax (even though I showed him the PIP letter)

You can’t do it at the post office you have to send it all directly to the DVLA
