Does anyone know of a wide baby gate that has small gaps between bars?

I have a hallway 103cm wide and need a stair gate to stop my 5 month old chihuahua getting through.

So it needs narrow bar spacings?

I've not had a baby gate in years but from what I remember she would get through a 'standard' one

Is a pet gate ok for a baby? I expect they have different safety standards?

We bought this system as it’s very adaptable. Our house is a bit quirky, and nothing standard fitted. This is great. https://www.johnlewis.com/brand/babydan/_/N-1z140bz?search-term=BabyDan&suggestion=true

Argos have a pet stair gate, if the bars are too wide, you could attach a sheet of clear acrylic or similar?

We had this which was pretty useful although for a baby rather than a dog. It retracts away to practically nothing and has no bars to fall over at the bottom. I saw John Lewis had clear ones which could be an option?

We had a lindam flexi gate which was mesh. I think that one has been discontinued, but there are other mesh gates around.

The retractable ones are good for larger gaps..

What about a normal gate but add eg wire on it

I think a mesh one she would just push her way under if there's any give in the material? She's that small
