Boardmasters - pick-up

Does anyone know what time the pick-up car park opens on Monday morning?

I've had a look at the (frankly rubbish) website, and can't find the details.

Also, does anyone know what will happen if I arrive earlier than the official opening time?

No but I need this information too. Want to get there early especially as their Facebook page suggests pick up fields will be wet and slippery.

Their website only says car park time for the pick up one ( blue one ) up to Sunday 🫤

I'm leaning towards picking up tonight, after Florence and the machine. It's forecast to rain from 5pm, right through to tomorrow.

I've found the website to be really lacking detail.

It's a year later but can anyone recommend the easiest way you can pick up from Boardmasters on the Sunday night? Is there an official collection spot?

We just picked up from the drop off car park at the top of the hill? Just arranged a time and waited and waited and waited!

@Gert12 we’ll be picking tomorrow night as well. It’s rowdier at night than DD bargained for (very sheltered country mouse) and she reckons there’s talk of the last night being wild. And she begged to go to Reading 🙄😂

@grassyknees is/was there a time limit on waiting please?

I think it's shocked the kids how threatening it is. They found a flick knife , saw a girl break her legs and apparently the drugs are rife. I'll be in the car park early, keen to scoop them up.

Reading is much worse, my eldest has been a few times and is avoiding this year.

We’re home! Tent collection turned into child collection. Too many broken bones (not them), dealer in the next tent, DD got stomped on in a mosh pit… definitely won’t be asking about Reading again 😅 @Gert12 hope yours are ok, safe trip.

I hope your daughter is ok, it was a good move to leave early. Total nightmare trying to exit the car park last night, it took 4 hours after the kids found us and then a very long drive. I was pleased we had them safely in the car though as the stories they told us were horrifying.
I don't think they will be rushing back.

@Gert12 4 hours to get out of the car park? That’s just awful. Glad you’re all home in one piece.
