Just for fun: things you'd never buy new/ pay full price for

I have a few:

Duplo: all the sets that were new were presents, everything I've bought was either from eBay or the charity shop

Children's shoes: always Clarks, but all bar 2 pairs so far have been either from the Outlet store or new from eBay (2 kids so have bought upwards of 15 pairs so far I think)

Toy cars: loads were presents and I've bought a grand total of 5. I try to make it a point of principle that I will not buy Hotwheels and the like, as we're never short - they just seem to find their way to us 😊

A car. I always buy cars with about 2000 miles on the clock as they are so much cheaper.

I also only get Clarks from the outlet.

Kids Joules and Boden clothes. Increasingly unless it's from Primark I don't buy any clothes unless reduced. So many sales, I just wait

My daughter gets second hand clothes off Vinted & DePop. Sometimes she bags a bargain because it's been worn ONCE.

We buy mostly own brand food now or buy in bulk off Amazon. We look for early bird deals on holidays. Voucher codes from various websites. But our Christmas cards and wrapping paper in January.

Car. I'd have to, as my dear old dad used to say, have come up on the pools before I'd do this.
