Fake Cath Kidston

Beware peeps of a very gd fake Cath Kidston site. Too gd to be true then it probably is. I was stupid to be taken in but fortunately used credit card so hoping they can claw it back and not that much.

Just happened to me too. It's cathkidstonuk.com - total scam.

Yes there's another thread running about it somewhere. A friend sent me the link and it is very genuine-looking, she was shocked when I told her it was a scam (thankfully she hadn't bought anything!).

I realised it was probably a scam when I saw the price of delivery.

My friend got fleeced by a fake Joules site last week. It must be a thing at the moment.

The website is still up. I'm hoping to get my money back after 30 days as the credit card company said I have to give them time to fulfil the order. Yeah right. My postage was £3.99 so didn't think it was suspect at all. Very annoyed with myself but thought I could trust the padlock at the top of the page so went ahead.

I actually fell for this scam and have been ripped off :( , I'm normally quite good at these kind of scams but this one got me

I realised almost immediately and let the bank know. I did have to wait 14 days in case the order turned up ( I was still secretly hoping it would )
It was so enticing and I should have known better that it was too good to be true .

Banks and payment processors are botching this.

One thing is to ask you to wait 14 days in case the order eventually turns up and is just delayed by some nincompoop who is bad at their job, but is fundamentally honest.

A phishing website is a totally different story. It's not a badly run shop, it is someone pretending to be someone else. The morons working for banks and payment processors who tell us to wait X days are those truly enabling the scam.

Bad merchants and criminals are different phenomena requiring a different response.

Tesco asked me to wait 30 days. Tomorrow hopefully I'll get my money back!

I’ve just stupidly tried to order £92 worth of products! I put all my personal details and bank details but as soon as I realised I cancelled my card. Has anyone had a problem with them knowing your name etc? I feel so stupid

There is/was a fake Wilko site as well. If it is too good to be true then it probably is.

I have spent days making my cart on https://cathkidstonofficialuk.com/ but my mobile browser gave me a warning and froze at that page saying its a scam. I was stupid to waste more time on it on the system browser. Looking at the threat above, it is fake indeed right?

Finally got my refund from Tesco credit card after 3 months! Can't believe the website is still up

This site is still up and running after 4 months of this thread being started!
It's a very convincing one. I also had items in my basket but hadn't paid. It was my daughter, who I had recommended it to, that noticed something wasn't right.
She's reported it to Next, who own CK now.
What can else be done?
