Being asked to change my trustpilot review

Ordered something online 16 days ago, Got a text to say its out of stock and I must pick something else to the same value! Replied saying I would like a refund instead as I only wanted the item I ordered. No reply to that message.

Ten minutes later I got an email to tell me my out of stock item had been dispatched. royal mail tracking said (and still says 15 days later) we are expecting it.

Few days went by, heard nothing so I decided to email their customer services, Ignored. sent a text to the number they used to text me, ignored, called their customer service number six times with nobody answering, Sent another text to say I would be going to my bank for my money back, still no reply.

Left a trustpilot review saying the above and within seconds got a text saying I need to send my order number which I did, then they called me and told me they hadn't even seen my emails and he had only just seen my texts and if I remove or change my review on trustpilot they would refund me.

Told him I wasn't doing anything until the money was back in my account, he has then proceeded to text me all day, sending screenshots, calling me asking if I had removed the review yet or not (never said I was doing!) insinuating I would only get a refund if I did so. He then said he knows the money has already gone back into my account because he's done it already (its not in my account as of yet)

Since got five seperate 'we have refunded you' emails.

What do I do here? Never left a review before but if this is what its like I won't bother again!

I'd update your review to add this latest episode. You owe him nothing. This is appalling behaviour. If he doesn't have the item, he has to refund you - it isn't a favour!

Goldenphoenix · 11/08/2023 15:18

Like a PP said I would update my review with this latest bullying behaviour! Outrageous behaviour from the seller.

As long as you don't use the word 'scam', and have stated everything factual and have evidence to back it up, you dont have to worry about the review.

Update it with this latest information and do a charge back.

FuckertyFuckFuckfuckery · 11/08/2023 15:20

Agree update the review then contact your bank for a charge back before you run out of time to do so

I'm not sure how Trustpilot works. Can you remove your review, get the refund, then write a new one?

Fraaahnces · 11/08/2023 15:25

I would say that you won’t consider (very important to use consider) removing it until your money is refunded.
Get your money back
Share screenshots of everything on Trustpilot

Yep.

PriamFarrl · 11/08/2023 15:28

I would not be changing my review.
Did you pay on a credit card? You might be able to claim your money back that way.

Update your review plus report them to trading standards
