I don’t have a photo.. because the bloody thing either flies away or flies at me when I open the door.
But it’s black, for a longish thick black body and it taps its ‘butt’ every time it lands.
It’s been visiting my garden for weeks now, always lands in the same spot. I’ve never seen a fly like it before and it seems either friendly or aggressive as it’s not shy 😂 I have to be honest.. it’s made me close my windows and doors because it’s freaking me out a little bit.
any ideas?! About the size of a honeybee, maybe a little bigger, but much darker in colour.
