DD (16) is traveling from London to Rayleigh in Essex to visit a friend. She needs to catch a bus at the station. Presumably her Oyster Zip card won't work in Essex. Can she just tap her visa debit card, or will she need to buy some sort of ticket before she travels?
Also, any discounts for non-resident 16yo teens in full time education? I'm guessing not.
