Old fashioned ironing or steamer?

I have a very good iron but no iron board which makes ironing difficult and the garments never look good enough.

Should I invest on a iron board (takes up so much space and I hate assembling / disassembling / hiding it) or should I just go for a steamer (which type / brand)?

I mainly WFH nowadays and don’t have a lot of clothes that need pressing but occasionally it is needed.

Thanks!

I’m also wondering about this very thing.

A steamer, no questing your position. Ime you only need an iron if you’re extremely particular and usually take 10 minutes per garment. You can get Steamers quite cheaply from Argos or Asda.

Be careful - read reviews carefully. I bought a steamer, it works BUT one fill of water does one item. The steamer has to cool down before it can be refilled. Therefore it is an almost total waste of space. Only good if I just want to freshen one item prior to wearing it. No good either for deep creases
