What colour are my baby's eyes?

My eldest has dark brown eyes, just like me and his dad. His changed from dark blue to brown relatively quickly (as did mine apparently).

Daughter is over 5 months and they were dark blue for a while. I thought they'd turned brown as expected but I'm wondering if they're more hazel/green so thought I'd ask for your opinions!

Maybe they'll turn from this colour to dark brown at some point? Both husband and I have at least one blue eyed grandparent each, his mum has hazel eyes but everyone else in our families has brown.

My youngest started out with eyes that colour. They eventually went brown when she was 9 or 10 I think - and they are a darker brown than her older siblings' eyes now. They had brown eyes almost from birth. I'd call your daughter's eyes hazel and they are lovely!

Brown and gorgeous. My eldest's eyes were that colour and are now a gorgeous hazel with a mix of browns and greens.

2 of my children have a similar eye colour, hazel/brown/green depending on the light.

All 5 of my DC started off with blue eyes, but only one DC’s has ever stayed blue. 2 have have brown but differing shades, one very chocolate brown and the other has a more golden brown, 2 with hazel and 1 with very bright pale blue.

I love the genetics of eye colour, it’s so interesting!
