Swimming lessons

DD has just turned 4 and we want to start her on some swimming lessons. There are a couple of recommended places near us, but one doesn't have parents watching. There's no space by the pool or through a window etc. This provider is the cheaper option and has more lessons this upcoming term (making it much cheaper per lesson). The classes have a teacher and 2 assistants.

Do lessons generally have parents watching? Would you think it was an issue? I'm not worried about safety, more about not seeing how she's getting on, what the teaching is like. But maybe that's silly, I mean I'm not going to be watching her at school and that doesn't bother me.

Do they have a progress app/tracker?
Swimming lessons are odd... its pretty much the only extracurricular that you watch and analyse that way.

No, not that I'm aware of.

You're right, I wouldn't particularly be bothered about anything else. I guess it's because swimming is an important life skill.

Ours had a window but that wasn't visible to both pools. And it was a small window so maybe 3 people got to watch. Out of loads of parents
