Mumming with food poisoning

Think I have food poisoning - have all the symptoms and I know the suspect food. Only adult and no adults to help. Can I have some survival ideas for today please? Can't think. Particularly easy food for children (one won't eat potatoes). Yesterday I couldn't even stand. One child won't watch TV and needs a lot of energy burning.

Oh dear, I hope you feel better soon! How old are the children? Are you still stuck on the loo, or has that phase passed?

Give the kids whatever they want to eat and throw healthy expectations out the window and make sure all food is within easy reach for them to get themselves. If they're old enough, explain mummy isn't well so they'll have to amuse themselves today. Get out pencils and paper, playdough, small world toys and games to give them options. If you have a garden, fling the doors open and they can have a run about in the garden and use their imagination to play out there (if old enough to be unsupervised).

Don't bother getting them up and ready - today is a pyjama day!

If you have funds, deliveroo lunch!

Picnic - bread and butter (they can spead it) ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot - just give them a chunk of everything if that's all you can manage standing for and they can gnaw.

Pasta with grated cheese.

Sandwich

Put some music on and they can dance their energy off!

How old are kids? Look up go noodle on YouTube. They're fun kiddy exercise videos. Looong bath for each child with lots of toys and colander and cups for water play.
Ant studies: put a bit of fruit near some ants in the garden and spend hours watching them go for it!

Thanks all, this was all so amazingly helpful. I had a real brain shut down. I'm better now although my tummy is still sensitive. The ant thing worked unbelievably well!
