Should I change my weight loss goal to stop my boobs sagging??

I've lost 2 stone recently and am now just at the top of the "healthy" BMI range. I wanted to lose one more stone, but I'm a bit horrified by how my boobs are starting to look! I am a 32F so it's going to be noticeable, and I'm starting to favour baggy t-shirts to hide my chest. I do have good bras from an independent shop, and will get re measured once I've finished losing weight.

Would you rather be slimmer with saggy boobs, or a bit rounder but keep a firmer shape?!

A bit rounder is not healthy, so I’d lose the weight.
And well done you, I wish I had your determination to lose weight.

If your now a healthy weight I would stay there. I know exactly what you mean. A tiny bit of roundness keeps wrinkles at bay.

I lost a lot of weight, yes the saggy got me down at times but the overall health benefits were great and it was a joy to be able to just put on size 8 jeans from any shop knowing they would fit. I would recommend even just one new properly measured bra right now for posture/support/mental and physical pick me up. You’ve done brilliantly.

I'd keep going to get into the middle of the healthy range. Maybe buy a couple of cheaper bras to tide you over until you hit your goal weight.

But hey that's my aim and I'm currently fighting my way into overweight category.

Sugarfree23 · 10/08/2023 07:12

@Soundwasp how did you do it, I'm currently doing 16:8 and trying to be careful with what I'm eating.

I would lose the weight and up the strength training as this provides a multitude of benefits for appearance and health.

WilkinsonM · 10/08/2023 07:17

I'd rather be heavier and keep my boobs.

I'm the same. I've lost 4stone. Gone from a 34GG to a 30G and they are saggy af. But since most people only see me with clothes on/a supportive bra they can't tell. I think I'm still going to go for losing the extra 7lbs to put me bang in the middle of healthy weight.

Chantholtmouse · 10/08/2023 07:51

A million percent, I'd go for the weight loss. It's a complete no brainer. So much better for health but also slimmer people look so much healthier and better. Let's face it, people spend the vast majority of their lives clothes so slightly droopy boobs aren't going to impact more than being overweight. Go for the weight loss.

Boobs gonna boob. 🤷🏼‍♀️
