BBC Ghosts Tour

Hi, has anyone been on the ghosts tour at Button House? Aka west Horsley place. My daughter and me are huge fans and I managed to get us a place on the tour. My DP is kindly taking us down there. We are driving from Hull and the tour is booked for 10am. We go next week. We are as excited as it’s possible to be.

im just wondering what to expect and if any has done the tour does it include access to the gardens?

Also we aren’t in a rush to get home, is there anywhere local to there that does a nice lunch? A nice pub would be great. And a lovely place to head to for a couple of hours afterwards. My DP likes taking photos so the more quaint the better.

Hi, I did the film tour in October and it was amazing! The tour guides are lovely are really knowledgeable about the history of the house and the filming that has taken place.
They'll take the group on a tour all through the house and let you take pictures, hold the film props and they’re so relaxed, they even said we could sit in the bath if we wanted (of course I did) haha. It’s brilliant walking around a place you see so much on TV and being able to put scenes to the rooms!
They also take you on a tour around the gardens which is really interesting and once that’s done, you’re free to walk around the house and garden again at your own pace if you want to.
