Can we name him Freddo?

DC really want him to be called Freddo... we have a Rolo already, so they like the fact they "go" with the whole chocolate brands theme but can we really use Freddo? It's silly, isn't it? I'm certainly not sold, but he can just become Fred but then why not just have his official name as Fred

Do we keep the DC happy with the name choice!?

Yes, it's a great name! I also like Toblerone nicknamed Toby. Don't think it's silly at all, in fact I wish more people would call their pets non-human names because I hated trying to decide on baby names and being told certain names (Luna, Lola etc) sounded like dogs names 🙈

Freddo is a great name for a dog. You won't be judged at the vets. They hear all sorts of names and Freddo isn't odd at all.

We were in the vets once and they called out “J.K Growling”. The whole waiting room laughed. Vets will hear all sorts and Freddo feels normal to me. So I say go for it, as long as you are comfortable saying it. It’s important at least at first to be consistent so you don’t want to be using a mixture or Freddo and Fred for example. He’s a very cute pup.

I've got a kitten called Velcro (thanks teenage DD). Freedom is way more normal than that.

And yes, we do get laughed at at the vets
