Lost my passport holiday on Friday night. How long does fast track passport take

Not the renewal of an out of date one getting a totally new one, it says that after the appointment can take seven days to arrive does it actually takes seven days

I’ve just had one done - arrived on day 7. The trick is getting the fast track appointment : have you looked online to check availability? There is also an even quicker service - again appointment based - more expensive but super slick. I don’t know if that service is available for lost passports.

It's Wednesday, I think it would be a miracle if you could get one for Friday, but if you can you need to get going so get pics taken and signed, get the form filled in, check for appointments. Can you change your flight? Have a look into that. You might still be able to salvage this.

If you can get an appointment and are happy to pay the extra you can get a renewal on the same day. Not sure if it's the same if you've lost it, maybe phone them and check...you do have to go through a number of options before getting the one you need but would be worth it.
As a thought.....if you booked airline tickets with old passport you'd have to change the as well with new passport details.
