How to remove the covers from the seat cushions on a sofa easily

Help ! Is there an easy way to do it. I find it so hard to remove them and then to get them back on. They are filthy, in fact they are so bad I have resorted to putting throws over them so people don't see them

Unzip.
Peal backwards so they end up inside out. Easier to do with a second pair of hands - even if just a child - to help when bits get stuck.

Put them back on before totally dry. Scrunch up, get end of cushion right into the corners, then work your way up like a spiral, pushing and squishing as you go. Again, easier with more hands.

Can't help with getting off as have no problem with mine. I really HATE putting them back on, so this is what I do. Buy a long roll of cling film, and wrap the naked cushion up in it. Post it into the cover, it will sort of slide and glide if you push a bit. Put your arms right in and top off the cling film. Zip up. Helps a lot 😀
