Could this be a cold sore?

I posted last Monday as my 2 year old had a mark on her cheek and I was wondering if it could be impetigo. 2 days later it disappeared completely but this morning it is back and is twice the size.

I'm thinking now it looks a bit like a cold sore but would it disappear and reappear within a week? Any thoughts welcome, if it's still there tomorrow I'll probably ask the GP

Could this be a cold sore?

Looks like perioral dermatitis to me but that’s rare in children.

Could be impetigo but I’d have expected that to scab over.

Thank you, yes it's strange as it's not scabbing and it seems like spots rather than blisters.

When I first noticed it it looked just like a pimple or insect bite, but I'm confused by the fact that it comes and goes.

I am really worried about it potentially being a cold sore tbh. But she's not itching or touching it at all.

It doesn’t look like a cold sore. That would have blisters and would scab.
