When I leave the empty washing machine door open, it's to let it dry so it doesn't getting musty.

You're not doing me a favour by closing it all the time. Love you though.

When I leave food out to cool down before storing/using it’s not there to be picked at and tasted until there’s no longer any point in saving it!

I may be leading the way in this matter, though.

GetThatGig · 08/08/2023 09:15

That Babybel is really expensive. Could you choose a less expensive snack please?

KindersFeepers · 08/08/2023 09:18

@LuvMyBoyz Especially when they've already said they're "so full from dinner". Then stop eating more food!

That cupboard doors don't shut automatically.

Loo rolls don't refill on their own

For god sake shut the shower screen properly when your in there so I don't have a swimming pool on the floor

HollieHobbie · 08/08/2023 09:22

Yes to the cupboard door thing! I think I've got poltergeists sometimes as I shut all the cupboards, go into the hall for a moment and when I'm back in the kitchen all the doors are open again! 🤦🏻‍♀️

LadyPenelope68 · 08/08/2023 09:23

That the food doesn’t magically end up in the cupboards by the Magic Food Fairy.

That it’s easier if you clean up after yourself as you go along, rather than someone else having to do it all later.

That the empty toilet roll tube doesn’t live on the bathroom windowsill, just put it in the bin!

HollieHobbie · 08/08/2023 09:27

Oh and towels dry better hung up after use, not slung across the bed. 😡

I have thrown a towel out of the window because of this. Had to retrieve it the next day from the rose bush 🤣

Lkahsvtv · 08/08/2023 09:31

That leaving stuff in the sink is actually really annoying as then I have to move it all to even begin washing up
That the reason their towel is always damp is because they don’t hang it up and I’m not the bad guy by refusing a new towel every day

GetThatGig · 10/08/2023 19:48

Another one happened today! Stop asking me to buy a family pet. Why on earth would I want one more animal to clean up after in this house?

Magpiecomplex · 10/08/2023 19:52

How to look for things. They're usually in plain sight, too...

KindersFeepers · 10/08/2023 19:56

@Magpiecomplex My mum used to tell us if we couldn't find something, and then she found it right where she said it was, she would keep it 😂

That cooking plum jam without removing the caterpillars first creates a mess in our kitchen and provides an extra job for DH and I to have to throw it all out when you have left after your visit.

oldestmumaintheworld · 10/08/2023 19:57

That opening your bedroom curtains will not bring on fits, headaches, skin complaints, ugliness, the loss of WiFi or indeed any other issue. It just brings the light in and will not kill you. Amazing eh?

Cloudsandrainnotsunandsand · 10/08/2023 19:59

That you don't need to be an adult to empty the sanpro bin..

Hairychin123 · 10/08/2023 20:05

That toilet time = no interruptions….
