Irregular bleeding

Has anyone had a similar experience?

im 30 years of age and I started bleeding 2 weeks after my last period. The bleed lasted for about 10 days and it was heavier than my normal periods which only last 2-3 days. I went to the drs unfortunately they couldn’t examine me as I was still bleeding and told me to book an appointment straight away as soon as it stops. Iv been so worried about it being something sinister this is the first time this has ever happened.
some other symptoms iv notice over the last couple of weeks may or may not be related is iv been feeling hot a lot of the time, I woke up one night early hours dripping in sweat. Worsening of migraines?
has anyone gone through something similar?

Ask the Dr to check for premature menopause and check your fsh etc.

I thought I had a fertility issue that would be fixed, turns out, by the time it was diagnosed I was basically post meno and have premature ovarian failure.

@SheRaaaaa I have come across a few threads with people with similar experiences going through early menopause. I hope this is not my case I would be absolutely devastated as I really want to start a family. Do you mind me asking how old you were at the time?

I came off depo at 35/36, had a year of trying, then periods started going awol.

Due to my age I went to the Dr's after not getting pg after 6m. They fucked me about and it was a year until I got referred to the fertility department.

Had tests and she prescribed clomid, then progesterone to take first to bring on a period, all appointments had months between them. She gave me inositol as well.

Got pg, had a missed mc, then covid hit so lost a few years there. Periods practically non existent. I think the last ones were progesterone induced so well into the 12m of no periods.

Then late last year got diagnosed with pof, after an internal scan showing atrophy of ovaries and high fsh. Had 4 mc in total. I'm 42.

@SheRaaaaa im sorry to hear everything you have been through women really do go through it.
I will make a drs app tomorow and ask to be tested for fsh etc although I have seen that a lot of people on here have been fobbed off by the drs by saying ‘your to young to be going through menopause’ thank you for your advice.

It takes 18 months after the depo jab for fertility to resume (and that's for young people)
I'm surprised they gave you the jab in your 30's?? I read it was used for chemical castration in prisoners in the past. Horrible stuff it is.

Actually I got it wrong, I had the implant removed, sorry, I was on my 2nd or 3rd one I think, before that I was on depo for years.

I'm not surprised at reading that ^ it should be banned.
