Hi,

I obviously live under a rock 🙄… In fact, I don’t but I do live in rural Cumbria l, rarely go to cities and didn’t realise that the Edinburgh fringe is on atm!

I have booked non refundable Day return train tickets for tomorrow.

Me, DH, 13yr old and 9yr old.

We were hoping to do tourist things like camera obscura and a walk up Arthur’s seat.

But now I’m worried that it’s just going to be a massive overcrowded waste of a day?!

Thanks everyone.

I didn’t mean a waste as in no point… more the busyness will spoil it. Esp as the kids have been excited to go to camera obscura.

Is only 2 hrs on the train though, so can always go again… not entirely sure why we’ve never been before! We go to Manchester and London quite a bit on the train!

I’ve had a look at the fringe app and I’m getting excited to visit now.
Thanks

The them to Vittoria's on George IV Bridge (George the Fourth Bridge), it's the best family restaurant in the city centre. The Museum on Chambers Street is free and brilliant but don't waste a sunny day in there. Kids fringe shows are affordable and lots of the venues have street food and beer gardens. Enjoy!
