Have I broken my foot...?

And even if i have, is there anything anyone medical could do or is it just waiting to let it heal?

A few weeks ago i tripped and fell when walking down the street, and hurt my knee and my foot. Knee was really sore but now healed, but foot if anything is getting sorer....

Ive attached a picture of where on the foot it hurts, and lots of walking (which i did on Saturday ) makes it worse... its as if my big toe bent forward too much, and the joint with the toe and the ball/side of the foot is really painful, throbby pain and the area is tender to touch.

Is there a chance theres a small broken bone somewhere...? And if so, is there anything anyone could do for it? Its not as if they can put a cast on my big toe 😂

It might just be a sprain but I would get checked just in case. It’s not great to be walking so much on it.

Check out turf toe for the symptoms of a big toe sprain. (It’s common amongst athletes / sportspeople who push off with bent toes like runners).

Go and get it x-rayed to be sure. You could do more damage hobbling around on it.

I think you'd be in a boot / shoe to immobilise it if it's broken. Bigger toes need more looking after than a broken little toe.
