It feels like Autumn already

I know there is meant to be some warmer weather coming but it feels like Autumn and I really doesn’t feel like we had a summer this year. There is a chill in the air and the last couple nights have been quite cool. I am in London by the way and I am sure someone will come along and say they are still wearing vest tops as to them this is really warm, but I am cold!

I got up this morning and said to my DH 'It smells like Autumn'. Things have definitely started to shift in that direction.

I put the central heating on for a couple of hours last night.

I don't think it's linear. Just because it's like that this week, doesn't mean we won't have summer days next week or the week after.

To be honest I’m fed up of the ‘will summer come back or won’t it’, I’m happy to just go straight to autumn now so we know where we stand. I have a 4 month old baby and this year seems to have absolutely whizzed by, it’s nuts to think in 2 months the chat will turn to Christmas.

I’m so excited for autumn. I love everything about it.
