Do you mean an independent social worker (ISW)? It depends on what you need then to do & who would instruct them. Do you have any more detail?

I'm. It sure tbh , it's for a friend who isn't on Mumsnet and she needs help with her daughter . Are you able to dm any more info about costs ? I'd be grateful
