We're getting new windows, I understand the uk regulations now say new windows should open a certain amount (90⁰?) so they can be used for a fire escape but with children in the house I don't want them opening that fully all the time.
Did your window suppliers provide a hinge with a restrictor on, so it can only open so far unless you release the hinge somehow to open fully, or do you buy your own restrictors afterwards or am I being silly and it's normal to have windows that open far. My kids aren't toddlers but we do have younger family round at times so want the house to be safe for all.
It's our house so no rented rules and regulations.
