Hi all!

Starting to prep for our holiday to CP Bois Aux Daims and was hoping for some top tips from anyone who has been to a French CP before....

I know there's no laundry services or villa wifi (or oven LOL), so planning ahead for that - but anything else we should know?

Anything we must take? Must see? Must do? Must avoid? I'm wondering if I should buy bug spray and take our own sheets but I could be over-packing and over-thinking everything, as per usual.

Thanks hive mind!

Sorry you didn't get any replies and I can't help as I haven't been, but I would love to see your review when you get back. Smile

I haven't been to that CP, but have been to other European ones.

They supply all bedding, but worth taking a sharp knife or sharpener. The supermarkets at CP are good and there will be a hyper market nearby so I wouldn't bother bringing any bug spray - pretty much clothes, books etc only.

I'd definitely take mosquito repellent-we have just come back from France and DS got bitten loads the night he forgot to apply it.

Not specific to French cp, but Francein general.

If you/spend more than 50euro, you need to insert your card.

French supermarkets close at midday on Sundays. Some close earlier in the evening.

They stock everything up need, so you can travel light. I would only take favourite brands of cereal, coffee etc.

Not sure where the cp is but pack toilet rolls as some of the smaller motorway service stations don’t have these.

As I say, these apply to France in general, not CP..

The on site supermarket is very unlikely to sell fresh milk!

Bug spray is a must - likely to be lots of mozzies.
