Nursing in Australia

I'm currently a GP practice nurse thinking of the logistics of relocating to Australia.

Everything I read says that practice nursing is a thing in aus, but when you look at local surgeries 'meet the team' person pages, it only lists doctors.

Is there an equivilant role in Australia to a UK practice nurse? Based in GP surgery, supporting people with long term conditions, womens health, immunisations, injections, etc? Or is the work mostly carried out by GPs in Australia?

Yes GP practices here have practice nurses specialising in those areas. I don't know why they are not on the webpages, it's odd.
