3 teens day in London

Hi
My 3 teens DD1 18, DD2 17 & DS 14 will half a day to kill in London on Tuesday. Not very city wise and will be starting in Notting Hill (also they're French with good English).

Does anyone have any suggestions? DS will not be thrilled with 1/2 day shopping!

A musical or play?

Local walking tour of all the places in the movies?

Science museum or natural history museum is free.

Camden is great fun for teenagers- they don't even have to be buying- great selection of cheap and tasty street food, alternative clothing, zany t shirts, tattoo parlours, cannabis lollies, UV glowing rave clothing, you name it. The shops are bright colours with 3D shoes and planes and things stuck on them- its an experience just to wander around!

After this the science museum would be the most fun for this age range. Large section on space and astronauts, earthquake simulator room, computer games testing optimum designs for dune buggies and things. It's popular though so book as far in advance as you know to secure a slot.

Or there are some cool game type things- crystal maze or multiple escape rooms dotted around.

HMS belfast or tower of london is also good fun to explore if they enjoy history.

1/2 a day is not very long. If it's a weekend they could hang out at Portobello Market in that area, or August Bank Holiday is carnival, which is brilliant or not, depending on musical taste.

Sorry, completely ignore my post, just saw it was Tuesday! 🤣

Agree half a day is not very long. Might be best to find something fairly local to Notting Hill. What sort of thing do they like @Wallywobbles ?

I think an actual thing to do is a good idea tho, otherwise it's very easy to wander aimlessly.

It's a bit of a way away, but the Wembley Stadium tour is very good if they like football. Or if they like art, the Nat Gallery and Nat Portrait Gallery (newly refurbed) and then maybe a bummel round Leicester Square and that area. Also Trafalgar Sq is right there.

If it's a nice day, they will be close to Hyde Park and can ride the pedaloes on the serpentine?

The girls could happily fake shop for hours. DS would rather watch paint dry. Camden could be a good call as it's a bit different to normal shopping.

The water taxi from Paddington to Camden is nice.
