Laptop for 6th form

Looking for some recommendations for a laptop for DC for sixth form and then uni after.
Budget - up to £600 (so a MacBook is not possible)

Dd has a second hand macbook from music magpie, it's a 2020 MacBook Air and runs like new. Pretty sure it was just under £600

Definitely a second hand MacBook. Look at Hoxton Macs.
