Bored and no friends

I need a hobby, a way of meeting friends in your 30s or both.

I’m constantly bored and feel like my life is on repeat. I go to work, come home and be a mum and then scroll social media for hours when DD is asleep.

I moved to the area 1 month before lockdown after travelling throughout my 20s. Due to lockdown and becoming pregnant, I never made friends. I went to baby groups etc but everyone seemed to have their own lives and even tried downloading friend making apps like Peanut.

I’m just so bored.

Is it possible to go to the gym? Or a fit ness class? I made a tonne of friends that way.

otherwise - how old is dd? Worth retrying toddler or children groups (sat morning if she’s achool
age) but you may need to put yourself out there.

I completely understand OP. I feel exactly the same. Why is it so much harder to make friends in your 30s I'll never know.

Don't have any practical advice, but wanted to let you know your not alone.
