So this year we decided to do our holiday in November to Gran Canaria as it's £1,000 cheaper than summer.
So we are looking forward to that.
We went to Tenerife in April for 4 nights and got a brilliant reduce late deal.
For the 6 weeks hols we decided to do day trips and go to Ireland next week for 3 nights.
My friend rang yesterday and she told me she was going away next week
Her comments were
"Oh can you believe this is our 4th holiday abroad this year"
"Where you off Ireland ? Oh well it's a couple of days away and it's still a plane -it won't be as hot as where I'm going but better than nothing"
"Not everyone can afford the 6 weeks holidays "
Would you think she was kind of looking down her nose at us?
I mean we are super grateful we can go abroad twice this year (regardless of what month )
And the fact we are going to Ireland we are really excited
Am I just thinking too much ?
