IKEA Eckbaken White Marble Worktop - anyone have one? Need advice please!

Does anyone have this worktop? How does it wear? Does it stain easily? I'm Asian and cook alot and turmeric is pretty much used most days! My current laminate worktop is a dark speckled grey and it does stain if I dropped curry sauce on it but after a couple of days of cleaning it's gone.

Would I be crazy to get this or should I stick to a textured wood effect laminate Ive seen...

TIA

I have a marble effect Eckbacken for my desk, which doesn't usually stain easily but does have a single yellowish stain that happened just after it was installed that I've never been able to remove. Curry stains wipe off fine, but I've never spilled pure turmeric on it. I have a wood effect Eckbacken in my kitchen which doesn't stain at all.
