I will start - the fighting. I have had a lot of fighting today and it’s been a trying day. I took my youngest to a birthday party for 2.5 hrs. But the wind and rain was quite bad this afternoon so the fighting started up.

Always needing something. A drink. A snack. A missing toy etc etc. absolutely no peace at all

Defo this , bickering constantly with each other , winding each other up and never doing what I ask them to do !! Feels like it saps the fun out of everything.

I love summer holidays apart from places being busy.

I do find the constant food prep a bore.

Just the lack of space alone, just even for a short time

Not much. I have the summer off too so it's great. Though this year we're waiting exam results which is hard.

Not having the whole time off with my kids. I used to be a teacher so I used to have the whole summer off with them. Now I’m not and I miss the lovely time off together (but don’t miss it enough to be a teacher again!).

The endless meals

The guilt, I'm disabled (since youngest was 5) single parent with no father involvement. I feel guilty I can't do the things I know they'd love to do. I'm told your a great mum, the kids have your love but that's not what I wanted to give my dc when they were born. It also make 6 1/2 weeks along time for them. They're great kids, very helpful, but they should be able to have some excitement, experience new things and travel.
