I'm really struggling with trauma-induced insomnia (and dissociation). I am already taking magnesium, but are there any other recommendations. I'd prefer not to end up on Z-drugs (bad experience as they kicked me into a severe dissociative state and I climbed on a window ledge at 7 stories high trying to escape the nightmare I was having) and lorazepam isn't working.
Would love to try melatonin but unsure about buying it off amazon?
