Asda / Yodel - unlucky or always this rubbish?

Hi all,

I'm back visiting for a month and ordered a few clothing items from Asda on Wednesday and paid for next day delivery. Got notifications it was coming Thursday. Then got an email that it wasn't coming and Asda refunded me delivery.
Then it was meant to come Friday, then not, now today.

Will it actually come today? 😅 I've just been down to tesco to buy a replacement as I needed one of the items for today.
Am I just unlucky or is it usually like this? Just so I know for next time...if so, I'll avoid delivery and just go into the store!

I've ordered a few homeware bits like candles and a vase etc and they've come smashed to bits every time. I don't order from them anymore unless it's things that aren't breakables.

I've never had an issue, the opposite really- it always comes next day whether I've paid for next day or not and have never had anything broken etc.

I might just be lucky in general though as I've never had (touch wood) any problems with deliveries full stops, even from the likes of Evri who you hear bad things about. Always on time and always turns up, drivers always very pleasant. Perhaps I live in some sort of delivery twilight zone.

@Lavender14 that's appalling.

@dontgobaconmyheart maybe it's just my bad luck then.

Said between 12-2 and I'm still waiting.

I just do click and collect to store. It's brilliant and so fast.
