Since the lock down has finished . Why is everything still precooked and then has a time limit. Its shit before hand you could take the kids to a play centre, swimming, spash zone or what ever . You paid and could spend half the day there. Now it's an hour. So you pay out x amount of money have something to do for 1hr then you got to find more stuff to do . To keep them entertained for the day.

Money!!

A lot of businesses are taking the piss now. It's typical isn't it.

It’s all money. They know it makes money due to them doing it during covid and now they can get away with it so they do. Very annoying. I hate having to prebook everything.

It's how things will be going forwards

Spending half a day somewhere for a few quid won't be happening anymore

I was wondering that this morning. Before Covid you could just turn up at the swimming pool and stay as long as you want unless it was extremely busy when you might be restricted to an hour. Now you need to book a time slot and can only stay 55 minutes. Getting there for the exact start time is tricky when it’s a long walk then an unreliable bus.

Yes probably right regarding the money. Probably lost customers as well though. Maybe not enough I guess.

Coming from the other direction...

I was at a trampoline park this week. You could pre book or turn up and queue. We had prebooked (a couple of hours before!) And their session was only 75% full. The session after (30mins later) was fully booked... and a long queue for turn ups started forming. A few got in on the next session... but queue got longer...

The booking system exists as people discovered they were happier knowing they wouldn't have to queue for ages.

Similar at the swimming pool. Its 90 minutes at ours, with 15 minute break. The sessions are often fully booked at weekends and school holidays. Its a lot less stressful than wondering if you will get in.
