Ear piercing

I'm old! But really want a second ear piercing to mark a big birthday! We are going away/abroad next weekend. Would you do it this weekend? Or would flying and being abroad be bad if something goes wrong. So should I do it when we get back? What would you do?

Go for it as long as it’s a hygienic/proper place for piercing. But you shouldn’t swim/shower for 24hr apparently so will need to factor that in. enjoy!

44yr old here - first piercing ever 2 weeks ago. A conch - very sore but I can lay on that side now.
I was told no swimming for at least 2 weeks.....

I’d wait until you’re back - seen some nasty infections so I wouldn’t want that on holiday. Not worth the risk.

My piercer won't pierce you if she knows you are going on hols,
suntan lotion/pools/sunburn etc

I have done it though but I have multiple piercings & am pretty lax
