What is this on my cays tail?

I was just stroking my cat and I noticed this hard lumpy long scab on the end of her table , I'm worried she's got her tail caught at some point .

She's not in pain and it doesn't cause her any distress touching it.

Awww, bless her! Does look like she's had a bit of an accident. Hopefully someone more qualified will be able to help you soon. Give her a big cwtch from me.

If she's not in pain and touching it doesn't cause her any distress then I wouldn't worry too much, she probably has caught it in something but it's healing up now.

I would just keep an eye on it for the next few days.
