DH left biro in shirt pocket and I've washed it, help!

Washed DH's white shirts and now they're all adorned with splodges of blue ink Please tell me there's a way to save them, we really can't afford to replace them all right now!

There was other light coloured but not white items in the load unfortunately, haven't actually ever used bleach on clothes but am assuming it's a no-no if everything's not white?

Spray with hairspray, dab with kitchen paper and repeat until it comes out.

I don't know if I'm allowed to link to them or not, but a quick google gives you loads of ways to get the stain out.

Solvent works best, rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, hair spray covering stain and left for a few mins should get it out. If you don’t have to hand bleach the white shirts, vanish oxyaction everything else using the vanish scrubbing bar on any stain that still refuses to budge has only failed me when tattoo ink had stained and got out many a pen explosion from dcs school shirts. May require a good soak

Why isn't he up in the middle of the night asking about sorting out this mess. Who keeps pens in shirt pockets anyway?

I'm sure he can find some way of sorting it, otherwise he can wear other clothes, or buy a couple of supermarket shirts from his personal spending money and wash them as necessary or look in a charity shop or on Vinted maybe?
