Is my gas usage normal??

I just got my gas statement and it’s strangely low. I am almost wondering if there is something wrong with my gas meter!

total used over 3 months (May to July) was just under 500 kWh.

For context, my gas usage over winter was really high as I had my heating on. However, now it’s only for hot water (oven is electric).

it’s just dd and me, and dd sometimes showers at the gym. So on average I would say it’s a total of 12 short showers per week.

does that sound right?

Mine for 25th May until 29th July so just over 2 months was about 200 kWh, just hot water, no showers, so yours is probably about right

Yes, you use like 80+% of your gas usage over winter. It'll be very low in summer.
