I live in a country where my hair is dissimilar to the locals. I've had a lot of challenges finding a hairdresser (think highlights that absolutely burned my hair and needed to be cut out, or 6 hours in a salon just for shoulder length highlights and a basic cut). I followed a link and found a hairdressing salon with a lady who had hair like mine. Couldn't get to see her but she recommended another guy in the salon. He was great. I was very happy. He hurt himself and I saw someone else as a replacement while waiting for him to come back. He 'fixed' my hair after her as it had turned yellow and he also needed to fix the cut. Now he's left (after only one visit back). I want to see the original lady but the 'replacement' lady now sees me as her customer. Please help me get my big girl pants on to go back and tell her I want to see someone else (she's been on front desk whenever I go nearby). Replacement lady is nice, just 'knows better' even when I specified I wanted what the male hairdresser did.
