Is it full of annoying 20 somethings and loud? Really fancy a good curry but want to be able to hear each other speak.

I've been going to both restaurants in Liverpool since they opened and have never found it to be particularly noisy. Definitely not just twenty somethings, there's a real mix of ages. Always have a lovely time everytime I go and the food is delicious!

Haven’t been to the Liverpool one but love mowgli … it’s not your traditional curry place, more like Indian tapas. Small plates.

Sanskruti is also lovely!

Mowgli is our absolute favourite. We go to both in Liverpool regularly and have done since they opened. Not full of annoying anyone. Real mix of ages, it’s my aunts (65) favourite place too

I have very fond memories of Mowgli in Liverpool- we went there for dinner after I ran the Liverpool Marathon. The food was amazing. Sadly the other main thing I remember is that you have to go down some steps to get in, and my legs did not thank me for that!!

Holdi in woolton is AMAZING. Best curry in Liverpool by a long mile. I like Mowgli food but find the seats and the vibe a bit much personally.

Mowgli on bold street is just walk ins, you could try there?

I've only ever seen (but not eaten in one) the Mowgli in our town and just thought "who the fuck wants to sit on a swing when they eat their tea?" Confused

Bundobust on Bold Street is my favourite - the food is amazing. It’s more casual than Mowgli but I prefer it - it’s also all veggie but it everything’s so tasty you really don’t miss the meat. Don’t miss the Okra fries or the flight of beers

I agree. But most of the seats are normal (in the 3 Mowglis I've been in, anyway), so you can dine like a normal person.
