Clicking on links opens transparency report

Wondering if anyone knows why this is happening. Using my phone as usual, click on links and instead of opening the page I keep getting redirected to google transparency reports.
Anyone know how to stop this?

I don't know how to stop this just that it's happening to me too.

A google led me to this thread... I hope someone knows

It seems to have resolved for me, but I did clear internet history and web data (not sure if the two are related).
