Better value: Cyprus or Canaries?

Thinking of booking for next year's Easter holidays, which will be self-catering.

Last year we went to the Canary Islands & found it very reasonable for eating out.

Thinking of Cyprus next year, but not sure how much that compares, for eating out & buying food?

Needing to factor this in to the overall cost.
