Before anyone starts yes I know, but there is literally 1 indoor venue for under 7's and its a hideously depressing and crap softplay with no windows and horrifically high prices.

So we have a place with an adventure playground and a few other outdoor bits and a bar restaurant, they are giving us a function room indoors as well but it is literally a room, weather foreast not looking great (weep) what on earth can I organise for 2hrs indoors that wont be crap!

4-6 year olds.

I can only think of pass the parcel, we live rural but I can drive to a big tescos and small'ish b&m quite easily if anyone has seen anything in there I could buy.

Thanks in advance.

Tell everyone to come in wellies and a raincoat. Honestly unless its lashing down, they'll not be bothered about being in the rain. One of my dds went to someting similar and as the weather looked iffy they just said, tell her to wear old clothes, wellies and bring a raincoat, and maybe stick some extra clothes in a bag in case they get too drenched. She had a whale of a time.

Indoor games mine used to enjoy at that age -
pass the parcel,
pin tail on donkey,
musical chairs (cushions),
donut eating game (ring donuts on a string ina. line and first to eat not using their hands wins),
The game where you have to eat chocolate with gloves on and a knife and fork (sit in circle passing a hat, when music stops chiuld put on hat and gloves and has 30 seconds to cut a square off a bar of chocolate with knife and fork to eat a bit.
Scavanger hunt(I stuck dinosaur stickers around the house and first to find them all - although they tended to just rampage around in a group anyway)
Create a mummy - put them into teams of 3 or 4, one child is the 'mummy', the others have to use toilet paper to wrap them as best they can within a couple minutes, best 'mummy' at the end team wins.
