Which singer / band did you ‘discover’ decades after everyone else?

I’ve spent today listening to Kirsty MacColl albums on Spotify. Obviously I knew a few of her songs but why did I not know about all the other great ones…? Now got ‘Free World’ as an earworm.

The Killers, although I recognise their music I had no idea the songs I’ve heard were theirs.

I’ve discovered The Killers doing covers on your. I love the fact that Brandon is honouring these songs by covering them, I think it shows his absolute love for music.
