Any good suggestions for rainy day toys for 3/4 year olds?

My nephew is three and half and I wanted to get him a few things to play with when he comes over next week - the weather doesn't look great and I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on what sort of toys are good for rainy day play?
He likes thing like magnet tiles and he has some toot toot track that he enjoys so he likes things he can build and chop and change around and experiment with.

Marble run, walkie talkies, jigsaw puzzle, wooden train track (brio or similar) all things my 2.5 + 4 year old are loving at the moment

Definitely Duplo!

Also sticker books, superhero action figures, cars (plus some road tape from flying tiger if you have wooden floors) and magnetic numbers and letters on a magnetic board.

DD1(4) loves the paper plate craft sets you get on Amazon. You just stick the shapes onto the plates using sticky tabs provided, but she can do it herself without help and really enjoys it.

My DD used to love the magic painting mats that you use with water, then they dry amd you reuse them... Aquadoodle I think they're called.

Ooh brilliant suggestions thank you! He's staying with me for a few nights and although he will bring some of his own toys, I wanted some 'exciting' new bits that hopefully will stop him from getting bored! I've got activities planned too so I'm not relying solely on toys and games :)
