Sun bears fake?

Has anyone seen it online about the sun bears in china being fake and humans dressed in costume? What do you think. I can't work it out!

If you Google sun bears they do look like that though

I don't think they are fake. Bears just look like that when they don't have big shaggy coats.

They look like sun bears to me (we have some in the zoo near us). Some animals have that weird wrinkly skin.

I think they’re real bears but the idea of a zoo dressing humans up as bears and putting them in enclosures is a much better story.

Zoo attendance has rocketed so maybe they put the rumour out there...!

I think it’s hilarious and wonder if it’s the zoo spreading it to boost their sales 😂 The zoo in Edinburgh have also come out to say their bears are real and not anyone in costume .

I feel like if I were a human pretending to be a bear I wouldn't stand on 2 feet waving at people

They are bears. If you were dressed as a bear you'd at least try and behave like a bear

This. The whole story is depressing and I wish it was a human dressed up so that those poor bears and whatever other animals are there weren't living in those conditions.
